OPERATOR STORY
The Adamson House is a 1929 Spanish Colonial Revival estate built by Rhoda Rindge Adamson, daughter of Frederick and May Rindge, the last owners of Rancho Malibu. It is renowned for its extraordinary Malibu Potteries tilework: a 60-foot Persian carpet in ceramic, elaborate courtyard fountains, and hand-painted murals. A California Historical Landmark on the National Register of Historic Places, the grounds sit between Surfrider Beach and the Malibu Lagoon.
