EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION

Broadway occupies a 40-seat room on Glenneyre Street with an open kitchen where the cooking is the main event. The menu is progressive American cuisine built on French technique, serious in its execution and unhurried in its pace. The wine program is thoughtful, the room is small enough that the kitchen is audible throughout, and reservations are essential on weekends.

OPERATOR STORY

Broadway was opened in 2011 by Amar Santana, a Dominican-born chef who trained in New York and worked his way through some of Los Angeles's most demanding fine dining kitchens before choosing Laguna Beach for his flagship. The restaurant is independently owned and operated, with Santana regularly behind the pass. It remains the most technically ambitious kitchen in Laguna Beach.
