EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION

Ciao Papi occupies the shaded patio at the center of the Lodge's courtyard, with the heated pool on one side and rose gardens on the other. The menu is Cal-Italian — signature pizzas, hand-rolled pastas, and shared antipasti plates — made from Central Coast ingredients and paired with a curated list of Paso Robles wines. The restaurant is open spring through fall only, which makes it a genuine reason to time a visit. On warm evenings with string lights overhead and the pool reflecting the last of the sunset, it's one of the better outdoor dining rooms in the region.

Ciao Papi is the seasonal poolside restaurant at River Lodge, operated by Nomada Hotel Group as the culinary anchor of the property. The kitchen focuses on Cal-Italian fare made from locally sourced Central Coast ingredients and paired with a curated selection of Paso Robles wines. Open spring through fall.
