OPERATOR STORY

Coronado Brewing Company was founded in 1996 by two brothers who grew up on the island and built something rooted in the community they knew. Nearly three decades later it remains family-owned and independently operated, a local anchor on Orange Avenue that has outlasted several waves of restaurant turnover on the island. The taproom sources locally where possible and has become the kind of place Coronado residents go on a weeknight, not just when visitors are in town.
