OPERATOR STORY

The Coronado Historical Association has been preserving the island's history since 1969, operating from a restored 1910 Craftsman building on Orange Avenue. The nonprofit runs the museum, maintains the island's historical archive, and organizes walking tours of Coronado's Victorian and Craftsman residential streets, one of California's most architecturally intact early resort communities.
