OPERATOR STORY

The owner grew up in South Orange County, trained at The Modern under Union Square Hospitality Group in New York, then came home to Dana Point to build a neighborhood restaurant on fish from the harbor and produce from local farmers' markets. Craft House opened in 2016 and has been independently owned and operated ever since, earning recognition as the best restaurant in Dana Point while remaining genuinely local in sourcing and clientele.
