Healdsburg Plaza is one of the most walkable and genuinely pleasant small-town squares in California wine country. On Saturday mornings the farmers market fills the plaza with local growers, cheese makers, bakers, and flower farmers, often running a good two hours before the tasting rooms open. The surrounding streets hold a remarkable concentration of serious restaurants and independent wine shops within a two-block radius. Midweek mornings are quieter and arguably better: coffee, a bench under the redwoods, and the low-key pleasure of a town that takes food and wine seriously without taking itself too seriously.

Healdsburg Plaza is a one-acre park at the center of downtown Healdsburg, maintained by the City of Healdsburg. The Saturday farmers market runs year-round and is one of the best in Sonoma County, a genuine gathering place for local farmers, producers, and residents rather than a tourist-facing event.
