EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION

JRDN is Tower23's ground-floor restaurant, with a patio directly on the Pacific Beach boardwalk. It has been a Pacific Beach dining institution since 2005, drawing locals and hotel guests alike for contemporary seafood, sushi, and steak sourced from local and sustainable suppliers. By evening the room transforms, color-changing light plays across a 70-foot wave wall and the setting sun reflects off the glass front of the building in a daily spectacle.

JRDN was opened alongside Tower23 in 2005 by EDS Hospitality Group and has been a Pacific Beach dining institution ever since, drawing locals as reliably as hotel guests. The menu blends California cuisine with Japanese and Baja influences, built on fresh, local, and sustainable sourcing. The 70-foot wave wall, lit with color-changing light as evening advances, makes this one of San Diego's more theatrical oceanfront dining rooms.
