EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION
NDMK stands for endemic, and the name is the whole philosophy: fish pulled from the waters around this island, prepared simply, served in a room that feels like the island's living room. The poke bowls are built on whatever came in that day. The Overtown Brewery craft beers are also local. The place is casual: picnic tables, surf culture on the walls, the owner's family working the floor. The fish is serious. No reservations, first come first served.
OPERATOR STORY
The Thoricht family started the NDMK clothing brand in 2014 as a surfing and fishing family with four generations on the island, then opened the fish house in 2019 as a natural extension of how they already lived. Owner and GM is a fourth-generation Catalina islander whose connection to the water runs well before the restaurant did.
