EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION
The inn's nightly tasting menu is one of the most place-specific dining experiences on the California coast. The kitchen builds each menu from what the ranch produces and the surrounding land offers, garden vegetables, foraged mushrooms, ranch honey, Dungeness crab, Humboldt oysters, coastal rockfish, and wild ingredients gathered from the property's seven microclimates. The menu changes every night. Dinner is served in the main lodge dining room with fireplace and ocean views, to no more than a handful of tables.
OPERATOR STORY
The ranch kitchen operates under the same ownership as the inn, with a culinary program rooted entirely in the land and coast immediately surrounding the property. The approach, shaped by a consultant formerly of Saison in San Francisco, is hyper-local, foraged, and cooked over live fire. The larder is built from scratch each season. No ingredient travels far.
