EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION

Norman sits at the heart of the courtyard, with poolside seating and Skyview's iconic yellow MOTEL sign glowing overhead at night. The menu is casual and seasonal, built around Central Coast ingredients and paired with Santa Ynez Valley wines, including some from the property's own 2.5-acre vineyard. Food can be ordered to anywhere on the property via text: room, fire pit, pool deck. Open to the public as well as guests.

OPERATOR STORY

Norman is the on-site restaurant and bar at Skyview Los Alamos, named as an affectionate nod to Norman Bates: a wink at the motel's former Bates Motel nickname among locals before the Nomada renovation. The restaurant focuses on casual, seasonal Central Coast cuisine with a strong emphasis on local wines from Santa Ynez Valley producers. The menu is designed to complement a stay at Skyview without requiring guests to leave the property, with poolside service available via text.
