Ponyboy is the poolside restaurant and bar at The Pearl, built on mid-century SoCal food culture reinterpreted: classic recipes and cocktail traditions from the 1950s and 1960s, sourced from direct relationships with San Diego-area farmers, fishermen, and ranchers. Golden Hour runs before dinner; the pool is right there.

Ponyboy is operated by Service Animals, a culinary company founded in 2024 by two veterans of Addison, Southern California's only three-Michelin-starred restaurant. Their concept celebrates 1950s and 1960s SoCal food culture through modern interpretations of mid-century recipes, with close sourcing relationships with local San Diego farmers, fishermen, and ranchers.
