The coaches span a 1948 Palace Royale, a pair of 1950s Spartan Manors, and other aluminum-skinned icons of American road trip history, each stripped to the studs and rebuilt with original hardware preserved alongside Frette linens, organic mattresses, and a working kitchen. Waypoint Ventura was conceived in 2014 by two local Ventura families who share a passion for vintage travel trailers. Operating through Nibs & Halves, Inc., they spent years sourcing and restoring coaches before opening the property in 2018. Each trailer is stripped to the studs and rebuilt by skilled craftsmen with original character preserved wherever possible, hardware, tile, cabinetry, alongside Frette linens, organic mattresses, and modern kitchens. The owners are on-site and hands-on. The property also welcomes guests who arrive in their own vintage or retro trailers.
