Evergreen Lodge at Yosemite
Nestled in a 20-acre pine forest on the edge of Yosemite National Park, Evergreen Lodge offers a classic mountain resort experience with a rich history dating back to the 1920s. The property features 88 cozy, well-appointed cabins that blend rustic charm with modern comforts, intentionally forgoing TVs to encourage connection with nature and fellow travelers. The main lodge serves as the central hub, with a crackling fireplace, a historic tavern, and a restaurant serving classic American fare.
The lodge is a destination in itself, providing a wealth of recreational activities for all ages. Guests can enjoy the seasonal outdoor pool and hot tub, nightly s'mores by the fire pits, and a variety of games. The on-site recreation team offers guided adventures, from hiking and fly-fishing to snowshoeing, making it easy for guests to explore the less-traveled parts of Yosemite. The lodge's commitment to a genuine, unplugged mountain experience makes it a beloved retreat.
Co-owned by Lee Zimmerman and Brian Anderluh, who also own the nearby Rush Creek Lodge. They purchased the historic Evergreen in 2002 and completely rebuilt it with a commitment to social and environmental responsibility. A core part of their mission is a youth employment program that provides job training and life skills to underserved young adults from urban areas.
