Fernwood Campground and Resort
Fernwood Resort was established sometime in the 1930s as the “Redwood Lodge” and has been the friendliest business in Big Sur ever since. We are located in the heart of the Big Sur Valley alongside the meandering Big Sur River. Being adjacent to Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park, there is easy access to hiking trails and epic views.
Fernwood is an all-purpose facility featuring a 12-unit roadside Motel, Forest and Meadow View Cabins, the Tavern Bar & Grill, the charming General Store & Espresso Bar and a 60-unit Campground located in a Coastal Redwood forest. We can accommodate RVs in our campground up to 30′ and also feature Tent Cabins located on the banks of the river and Adventure Tents for our glamping customers.
